It’s not an April Fools joke. This is real folks. Attack On Titan Season 2 is coming to Toonami starting April 29th. During tonight’s April Fools debut of Rick and Morty Season 3 Episode 1, Toonami played a short promo promoting Attack on Titan Season 2. We were able to confirm that with Jason Demarco on Twitter that in fact Attack on Titan Season 2 is coming to Toonami.
When asked if Attack on Titan would replace JoJo, here was his response on his Ask.FM:
