It has been announced today that Viz Media has licensed the second season of One Punch Man for distribution in North America as well as Latin America and Oceania.

Viz has also been in charge of distributing season 1 of the series as well as the manga series stateside.

Season 2 is presently in production, with JC Staff replacing Madhouse as the show’s animation studio. A premiere date in Japan is yet to be announced at this time, and it is still unknown when a dub will be commissioned or if and when the series will return to Toonami at this time.
