The Toonami Trending Rundown for February 27-28, 2016. We welcome Dimension W in to the better cartoon show, as every show had successfully trended during their respective East Coast airings, in addition to #DBZKai during its encore presentation as well as #DimensionW and #Parasyte during their respective West Coast airings and even throughout the duration of the night. No character or in-show content trends to report, however.
Ever since Space Dandy’s successful run on Toonami, there has been an increase in shows that have had their dubs made and released immediately or shortly after their respective broadcasts in Japan (such notable examples include Attack on Titan: Junior High and Durararax2. For those wanting more info on the Broadcast Dub, my colleague Chris Maffris goes into more detail regarding this.). However Toonami hasn’t been able to get in on the broadcast dub fun, until now. Dimension W looks to be a show with a lot of potential, and it’s presence is just one example that shows that it’s a good time to be a fan of Toonami and anime as a whole and we look forward to see what the future brings.
