The Toonami Trending Rundown for April 26-27, 2014. Not the best night for trending with all the sporting events going on, but Toonami managed to whip up trends of their own as Space Dandy, Black Lagoon, Naruto, and every show between Samurai Jack and Sym-Bionic Titan reached the US trending list. We also got some special character trends with Gaara (as the Akatsuki finish extracting his power from him) and Revy (as she and Dutch “clean up” the Neo-Nazi ship and learn the truth about their employers…the Neo-Nazi’s themselves.)
In Sailor Moon news, the cast of the new series has been revealed and the sub is scheduled to premiere on July 5th at 7pm, with a new episode being released at every first and third Saturday of every month for it’s run. And in regards to the topic of the trending rundown, #SailorMoonCrystal also trended in the US between FMA Brotherhood and Samurai Jack as a result of the announcement.
Tune in next week as we welcome Attack on Titan to US shores, to go along with the start of Bleach’s Lost Agent arc, and the finale of Ghost In The Shell’s 1st GIG, to say nothing about the other shows.
