According to numbers published by BoxOfficeMojo.com, Dragon Ball Super: Broly opened to not make a little over $7 million, but was the number 1 movie in America for Wednesday. Here are all of Wednesday’s gross and ranks for the films:
This as also lead to the biggest opening for an anime ever in the United States. With this movie only opening in 1,250 theaters, a few being Imax, and most only having 1 or 2 show times, this is a huge success for Funimation and Toei Animation.
