The Toonami Trending Rundown for November 29-30, 2014. The final regularly scheduled Toonami of the year is in the books and in terms of shows, DBZ Kai, Gurren Lagann (though for some reason the mis-spelling “Gurren Laggan” trended instead) and InuYasha The Final Act all trended in the US, with InuYasha also trending worldwide.
In addition both DBZ Kai and One Piece each produced a few special character trends with Piccolo (as he begins training Gohan to prepare for the incoming arrival of the other Saiyans while Goku goes to the afterlife and begins his journey to King Kai for training of his own) as well as both Arlong and Nami (as the show gave us a recap of the Arlong Park arc).
We were also treated to 3 various promos on the night, one being a sponsored review of the Halo Master Chief collection in addition to two different promos for our first batch of films for the 2nd Annual Month of Movies with Episode 9 of Hellsing Ultimate and Summer Wars airing next week at 12am and 1am Eastern, respectively (and of course, Summer Wars also trended in the US as a result). And just to let you know, DBZ, Naruto, One Piece, Gurren Lagann, and InuYasha will all have the month off to make way.
