The Toonami Trending Rundown for November 15-16, 2014. The long awaited return of InuYasha has finally arrived, and to kick things off with a bang, #InuYashaFinalAct trended in both the US and Worldwide trending lists.
While InuYasha was the only show that made the trending lists, every premiere show with the exception of Naruto each produced a character and in-show content trend with DBZ Kai (Raditz as he reveals his identity as Goku’s brother and kidnaps Gohan to get Goku to complete his intended job, so to speak, as well as Piccolo as he teams up with Goku to try and get Gohan back) One Piece (Luffy and Shanks as we were treated to a flashback of Luffy’s beginnings and Chopper Man, as we were treated to a short involving him), Gurren Lagann (Kamina as Yoko and Simon look back at his efforts), and of course InuYasha (Kagome as she returns to the Feudal Era only to have a confrontation with Naraku’s heart as well as Kagura as she attempts to defy Naraku’s control).
A few programming notes for those not in the know. These next 5 episodes of One Piece will be a recap arc, so for those that were late to the party, it’s probably a good time to get yourself in the know on the main story. In Samurai Jack news, last night was also the start of Season 4. In addition, for those that are wondering where did Hellsing Ultimate go, the final episodes will air in 2 weeks time as part of movie month.
