The Toonami Trending Rundown for May 17-18, 2014. Good night for trending as every show with the exception of Attack on Titan and Bleach reached the US trending list, and every show with the exception of Black Lagoon, FMA Brotherhood, Naruto, and Samurai Jack reached the Mobile App trending list. Not bad, especially since the season finale of SNL and Marquez’s decision victory over Alvarado, among other events, were happening at the same time.
We also got some special character trends from both Attack on Titan and One Piece with Potato Girl (as we were introduced to the lovely Sasha), Eren (as he has difficulty passing his test, but fortunately passes as it was found out that his equipment was defective), and Luffy (as he destroys the two buildings he was stuck in between and the Strawhats get to higher ground just in the nick of time).
In Sailor Moon news, after years of waiting, Viz Media has announced that the series and the upcoming remake has been licenced to be re-released on US Shores, complete with a new dub cast.
