The Toonami Trending Rundown for March 8-9, 2014. Daylight Savings has begun and while we had a bit of a rough night for trending with SDSU’s 16 point comeback over UNM, Canelo’s KO victory over Angulo, and the start of the MLS season, among other things, things still went pretty well regardless, as Space Dandy, every show between One Piece and Samurai Jack, and Sym-Bionic Titan trended in the US; making sure that Titan returns on a good note. In addition, Samurai Jack also trended worldwide as well.
Furthermore, both Blue Exorcist and Soul Eater each also produced a character trend with Rin (as he joins True Cross Academy and has a brotherly argument with Yukio) as well as Black Star (as he and Death the Kidd managed to hold off Asura until Maka and Soul’s return).
