The Toonami Trending Rundown for July 25-26, 2015. A good night for the block’s social media buzz as on Twitter, every show managed to trend in the United States, and One Piece in particular managing to produce a character trend with Luffy as he successfully pulls a finishing blow on Lucci. On Tumblr, Toonami also made the trends list. And on Google Plus, #DragonBallZ and #AttackOnTitan both hit the trends list in addition to Goku as Ginyu switches bodies with him.
A few news bites coming out of Otakon in regards to Toonami. First off, the long awaited IGPX remastered DVDs are expected to be released sometime in November. For those wanting more info including what’s going to be included in the boxsets, Jose Argumedo has posted some of the details on his tumblr. In addition, Aniplex has also announced the cast for SAO’s upcoming Mother’s Rosario story arc, with Erica Mendez taking on the role of Yuuki Konno. Much like with Ryuko, I’m sure you’ll all welcome her new character to the block in 3 weeks with open arms…right?

In addition, as I mentioned during Comic-Con, Funimation will also be showcasing a sneak preview of the upcoming DBZ Resurrection F film during next week’s DBZ Kai, so you don’t want to miss that.
