The Toonami Trending Rundown for August 10-11, 2013. We celebrate Otakon week as Eureka 7 (as well as Bleach’s Arrancar arc and One Piece’s Long Ring Long arc) ends it’s run on Toonami with a bang as although the trends were still rather wacky at times, we got ourselves our 2nd perfect night in 3 weeks to make up for last week’s trending fiasco as every show reached the US trends list and every show but FMA Brotherhood and Cowboy Bebop sniffed the worldwide trending list. With events such as the previously mentioned, the introduction of Maka’s mother in Soul Eater, and Sachi’s appearance (and subsequent death) in SAO, among other events, it’s not hard to see why.
Tune in next week as we welcome in Star Wars: The Clone Wars at 3am Eastern, to go along with the beginning of Bleach’s Fake Captain Invasion arc and One Piece’s Ocean’s Dream arc, to say nothing about the other shows. See you next week and May the Force be with You.
