The Toonami Trending Rundown for April 5-6, 2014. Not an easy night for trending with the buzz of the Final Four in addition to Anna Kendrick hosting SNL, but fortunately Toonami’s buzz was better in comparison to last week as every show between One Piece to OG Naruto and FMA Brotherhood to IGPX as well as Sym-Bionic Titan trended in the US.
We also got some special trends from Bleach, One Piece, Blue Exorcist, and Black Lagoon with the Soul Society (as Oko is resurrected with the fusion of Nozomi and Kageroza and proclaims the destruction of the society), Franky (as CP9 invades his shipyard and we were treated to a flashback of his past), Shiemi (as she tries possibly in vein to form a relationship with Izumo, meets her familiar Mee, and manages to heal Paku from the demon’s temptate), and Revy (as she single-handedly destroys a pirate gang hired by Chin, whom was out for vengeance on Dutch).
In related news, Space Dandy began it’s rerun as the wait till new episodes in July begins, while tonight saw a total re-haul of Toonami’s logo and on screen graphics possibly to coincide with the bumper re-haul Adult Swim got with it’s expansion to 8pm, which begun last Monday. We also got a review of Titanfall for the Xbox One and PC and received a 9 out of 10. Toonami was rather unsure if an Xbox 360 version will be coming, but for those that are wondering, it’s coming out this Tuesday.
