  1. why is black lagoon at 693k what in the world

Batman and og naruto at 800k what
Do people not like black lagoon?

    • I don’t know its pretty ridiculous, I guess most people are DVRing it which is why it may not be showing up on the first round of ratings.

    • Black Lagoon has been out for how long??
Yes Naruto has been out for a while too, but Naruto is like the most popular shonen in US

      • I’m guessing it has to do with the Hansel and Gretel Arc too, saw it only once and I couldn’t stomach it again after that, too damn depressing and disturbing for me.

        • I don’t think people have the presence of mind to not watch a show based on an arc. And personally I don’t find animated violence to gut wrenching, something like “no country for old men” is definitely troubling. Regardless the next episode is more violent and I hope Toonami keeps on trucking!

          • Oh, it wasn’t the violence of the arc that bothered me, rather enjoyed it actually, it was the characters of Hansel and Gretel themselves that I found disturbing and depressing. I’m not gonna say anymore so as to not spoil it for anyone but if you saw it before you know what I am talking about.

      • It hasn’t aired on US televison before though that’s why I was so happy to see it. Even when I never saw it before, because it was one of those hidden gems so long ago that I missed in that void of no new anime after Toonami went off air, only relying on One Piece and Neon Genesis Evangelion to watch and enjoy.

  2. AoT could be doing better with a better lead..but still good. Bleach did great. Space Dandy did some damage to NS and OP but they still did well. BE did great. BL dropped the ball again unfortunately. Then BTB and OG Naruto killed it. Pretty good night.

  3. Lululu La La, hmmm….I love the dub version of the song 🙂 Wow alot of things happened Uruguay loses to Costa Rica, Spain lose to Holland and Chile and are officially knocked out. USA takes revenge for the last two Cup losses against Ghana with the fastest goal scored in US Football (Soccer) History.

Yea, Toonami that’s why I’m here anyways…another great week though I am kinda shuffled with why Toonami posted that Revy gif? Do people actually have a issue with the show? I know I don’t I love it! Along with Blue Exorcist it has been great and I am for going to be excited for the OVA to air. Yes this episode of AoT is my second favorite and it reminds why I think Mikasa is awesome, yes her weakness is her devotion. In a way though that’s all she has left, I mean who saved her? Yea that’s why. I love the line “The only way to live is to fight” and it’s true how else can we expand our dreams if we can’t give it our all?

Blue entering into a new arc with demon who I guess is a crow? Anyways Izumo always impressing me with her small parts in the show. Yea, keep supporting Toonami all the way through the web and on the streets. Pass the word and good luck.

    • The OVA’s are probably not going to air there 33 min each and very violent compared to the main seasons… it would require some serious editing. Don’t get me wrong I do want them to air, I just don’t think they will.
And yes apparently people have been complaining to the Toonami staff about Black Lagoon.

      • I’m pretty sure they want to air it. What I think they are doing is experimenting with how far they can go with regulations of the FCC before the boss comes in and says, okay that’s how far we can go. I’m sure pretty it’s going to air in due time after post-finish of Black Lagoon

        • 33 min per episode ain’t gonna cut it, unless each episode is stripped an reformatted to fit a “normal” time space of around 22-24 min regardless of violence. They would obviously ask Funimation to do this…hopefully it does happen because Roberta’s Blood Trail is EPIC in nature.

          • Didn’t the Toonami crew say in one of their past Q&As that they’d have no problem airing shows with hour-long episodes (i.e., shows like Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and Hellsing Ultimate)? Couldn’t they just dedicate an entire hour to Roberta’s Blood Trail? I could easily see them doing that once Blue Exorcist is done and the 2:00 AM hour is free. And I know that 33 minutes isn’t exactly an “hour long”, but I think some padding with extra commercials would do the trick.

          • So you suggest they keep the OVA the same length but instead of a 30 min time slot it gets a hour long one? I guess… but that’s a lot of commercials there my friend, but it should give them time for Promos Lol!!!
