Ninja Kamui has become a hit series for Toonami, Adult Swim and Max. This left many to wonder if the hit series will get another season in the future. Yesterday, Business Wire posted a press release from Rainmaker Productions and Sola Entertainment talking about the video game NINJA KAMUI: SHINOBI ORIGINS. In that press release, CEO of Sola Entertainment Joseph Chou seems to confirm a new season is in the works for Ninja Kamui. He says “We hope this game will continue to entertain the fans around the world while we work on Season 2 of the anime. BE THE NINJA!.” You can read the press release by clicking here.
This does not seem to be the case as Jason Demarco, CO-Creator of Toonami and SVP of Action and Anime for Warner Discovery, took to his Bluesky page to tone down the talk of the new season.
While Jason said it hasn’t been announced, he did not deny there was a new season of Ninja Kamui. For now, we will wait and see what happens.
