According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, Dragon Ball Super: Broly came in at number 4 for Friday at $2,397,442 just under what Aquaman made for Friday. A couple things to note here: Broly dropped to only 467 theaters playing it. However, most of the theaters that still were playing Broly expanded their showtimes which leads me to believe that expanding the amount of shows payed off and gave Broly just over $2 million at the box office yesterday. With Friday’s box office gross, Dragon Ball Super: Broly’s box office gross total is now at $12,817,471. Here are the totals for Broly so far by day:
It’s looking like Broly will achieve $15 million by the end of the weekend, possibly getting close to $20 million depending how it does on Saturday and Sunday. Also, keep in mind that most theaters, if not all of them, that played Broly Wedesnday and Thursday will again play it for the rest of the weekend. That’s potentially 1,250 theaters playing the film.
