The Toonami Trending Rundown for July 5-6, 2014. This season’s set of new anime titles are looking very promising, with Sailor Moon Crystal, Sword Art Online II, among other shows giving fans everywhere something to look forward to. However, it will be awhile before we’ll see those titles reach US shores and onto Toonami…with one exception. That being the Season 2 premiere of Space Dandy.
And as a result of the world premiere, despite the buzz of UFC 175 and the 4th of July weekend, among other events, every show between Space Dandy and Beware The Batman trended in the US, while Space Dandy also trended Worldwide.
We also got some special character trends from Space Dandy (QT, as he stops the appliance mech from starting an apocalypse; as well as Emo Dandy, one of the many “Alternative Universe” Dandy’s presented as a result of the Cosmic String), Naruto Shippuden (Sasori, as he is finally stopped and killed by Sakura and Lady Chiyo), as well as Black Lagoon (Revy, as she and Eda shoo away the syndicate that was after Greenback Jane).
