The Toonami Trending Rundown for May 30-31, 2015. Momocon week is in the books as the future of Toonami continues to look bright with both Michiko and Hatchin and Akame Ga Kill coming up on the horizon, the latter in which shows that Sentai Filmworks is finally on board with their support of the block.
As for the present, both #KillLaKill and #OnePiece each managed to trend this week during their respective East Coast airings.
Not much else to say regarding this week so id like to mention that (as of the posting of this rundown) today is the birthday of yours truly. I’d like to give a shout out to Jason, Steve, and everyone at Cartoon Network who are doing their part to rebuild the better cartoon show as well as everyone that reads and contributes to this weekly trending rundown and to the success of the block every week. No doubt Toonami is the gift that keeps on giving.
