The official Japanese website of The Promised Neverland revealed a new trailer and release date for the second season on the weekend of Shueisha’s Jump Festa event in Tokyo. The hit anime series based on the manga by Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu is scheduled to begin its second season sometime on Oct. 2020.

The announcement was accompanied by a new key visual featuring the kids of Grace Field House following their breakout in episode 12, which you can see below.

A teaser trailer was also released, which you can see below. Aniplex USA has yet to release an English subtitled trailer as of this writing.

The first season of The Promised Neverland aired on Fuji TV in Japan and streaming stateside on Crunchyroll, FunimationNow, HIDIVE and Hulu from Jan. 11-March 29 2019. The English dub premiered on Toonami from April 13-June 29, 2019. Toonami plans on giving the first season an encore run beginning on Jan. 4, 2020 at 3:30 a.m. Eastern. It is yet to be announced if and when the second season will air on the better cartoon show as of now.
