Inuyasha is doing dang good
Good week, no problems. Now to this week’s podcast, because Arthur should have also asked this question which is; If Jason and Toonami somehow found the way to get a budget for a new generation IGPX would they then be able to get the original IGPX on blu-ray if the new generation IGPX happens and succeeds? I want to propose a hashtag because I love IGPX and I don’t know why people are so turned off by it. Like Jason said way back when Toonami got IGPX the show is like Captain Tsubasa except it’s racing mech, not soccer. Which is why I really loved it and plus it is very successful in its Spanish dub. It’s an amzing concept. Anyways let’s hashtag #IGPX2014 on twitter like seriously (no offense to Jose amazing dude and hard working) but fuck him do the hashtag for a new IGPX so we can get the original on Blu-ray and a new generation IGPX.
Overall still a good week, keep tweeting, instagraming, facebooking, vining, and street cred toonami. Stay positive and keep up the work.
pretty good
Awsome ratings! once we get space dandy they are sure to go up!
very nice
Solid ratings. SAO, Soul eater, SWTCW, and FLCL really hold their own in that 1:30- 3:00 time slot. FMAB wasn’t too bad, neither was GITS, even IGPX was strong, and also Inuyasha is still tearing it up in that hole of a time slot. I think that the neilsen trends might have something to do with the second half’s strong ratings as of late, so good for us. However, the always unpredictable, Naruto fell 166,000 after bleach and One Piece fell 270,000 from Naruto. One Piece’s precipitous ratings drops appear to be becoming a trend so that needs to be addressed and hopefully Naruto Shippuden’s ratings are more stable than Naruto’s. In conclusion, Great night, especially once we hit 1:30; can’t wait for space Dandy or Shippuden. Things are looking good. Next step: Attack on Titan.
I think that One Piece’s currently inconsistent ratings can be attributed to the time of year it is. A lot of Toonami’s biggest viewers are teenagers, and they’ve got a lot of school and tests to go through around this time of year. Also, we’re in the dead-middle of the holiday season, so that puts extra strain of the earlier slots to gain attention.
That said, however, the ratings aren’t dipping as much as they were last year. At the very least, we’re getting a couple of millions each week.
Very decent week. Could have been worse, could have been better. Can’t wait until they start showing the movies.
