The Toonami Trending Rundown for July 12-13, 2014. Rough night for trending with the buzz of Canelo’s victory over Lara and the NBA Free agency and the buzz of the World Cup final dominating the trends, but Toonami was able to get it’s slice of the social media pie with Titan, Blue Exorcist, Black Lagoon, Naruto, FMA Brotherhood and Samurai Jack trending in the US, Samurai Jack only trending worldwide, and Toonami and every show between Attack on Titan and Black Lagoon trending in the mobile app. On Tumblr, Attack on Titan also trended.
We also got a character trend with Armin from Attack on Titan as he manages to appeal Eren’s case to use his Titan abilities to help humanity.
For those wondering why Criminal Threats was repeated instead of a new weekly goodie, it was revealed that it couldn’t air due to some technical issues beyond Toonami’s control, but it should be airing next week. On the other hand, we did get a new set of bumpers, so it’s not a total loss.
